Pursuant to the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act
(CUPCCAA), this is a list of upcoming projects requiring a 30-day notice period
prior to bid opening. All of the following projects are located in or around
the City of Livermore and will be let out to bid by the Livermore Area Recreation
and Park District (LARPD). The funding for these projects primarily comes from
restricted local, state and federal sources. For additional funding and/or
project information, please contact the project manager listed.

UPCOMING PROJECTS and RFPs
LARPD #321 Railing and Retaining Wall at Stadium - This project involves retrofit work along the ac access path to the stadium seating that includes installation of approximately 40 lf of handrails along the pathway and short set of stairs (4 risers); and approximately 100 lf of retaining wall (up to 3-ft height modular gravity wall or cmu) with drainage. Engineer’s estimate is $32,000. Bid documents will be available February 26, 2014. Bid opening is scheduled for April 3, 2014. A prebid walk will be held on Thursday, March 6 at the job site.. LARPD #211 Robertson Park Lower Field Lighting - This project is for the installation of three (3) new lightpoles at the west end of the Lower Field at Robertson Park. The work includes electrical connections and installation of three 80-foot light poles with Musco luminaires. The lighting system will be furnished by the District and is not part of the contract. Engineers estimate is $65,000. Bid documents are expected to be available in June 2014. Bid opening date TBD. More info: Chiye Azuma, e-mail email@example.com.

PROJECTS ON HOLD
LARPD #603 Sycamore Grove Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail Repave - This project consists of repaving the 2.5-mile segment of the Arroyo Del Valle Regional Trail running through Sycamore Grove Park. The typical trail section consists of an 8-foot-wide asphalt path with 2-foot-wide compacted gravel clear zones on both sides. A compensation adjustment for price fluctuations of asphalt is included in the specifications. This project has been placed on hold pending identification of funding sources.
