Services Offered
These services are
made possible through the cooperation of HICAP, Legal Assistance and Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley. Call 925-373-5760 to make your appointments. All are
offered at the Robert Livermore Community Center.
- Health Insurance Counseling
trained volunteer counselors are here the second and
fourth Wednesdays of each month to see you by appointment.
- A Legal
Assistance representative is available by phone appointment.
- Senior Support of the Tri-Valley
conducts foot care by appointment from 9:30
a.m. to noon and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. the second and last Tuesdays of each
month. A suggested donation of $10 per
foot care appointment is requested. Blood pressure checks, diabetes screenings, hearing tests and nutritional information are available from 10 a.m. to noon the second and last Tuesdays of each month.
- BART Tickets are available
during office hours for persons 65 years of age and over. Dial-A-Ride
Vouchers are available during office hours.
- The Wiesner Memorial Fund is available to seniors age 60 and older who need financial assistance in the event of an emergency.

Stop by the Senior Services Office to make the arrangements or to renew
your yearly subscription when it expires. Prime Time contains all the information you need regarding trips, luncheons, classes and special programs.

An Advance Health Care Directive
is the best way to make sure that your health care wishes are known and
considered if for any reason you are unable to speak for yourself. Advance
Health Care Directive Kits are available at the Senior Services office
during regular business hours. Cost is $3 each.
Come browse
The books in the Vintage Lounge are part of the Senior Services
lending library. There are current books by popular authors in a
variety of genres including mystery, romance and science fiction. Volunteer
librarians welcome donations of
paperback books only.
