The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District operates a comprehensive Senior Services program that includes both senior center recreation along with social services. The fully staffed Senior Services center is located inside the beautiful Robert Livermore Community Center at 4444 East Ave. in Livermore and is a focal point for seniors in the city.

The Senior Services department offers one-stop shopping to help the community’s mature residents and their families navigate through the continuum of services available through the District
and other agencies. Staff members are available by appointment to work with families and seniors in private consultation on age-related issues such as caregiving, housing and more.

The Senior Services center features daily and special event offerings, such as the Spectrum lunch program, a free lending library, movies, presentations, billiards, bingo, cards, luncheons and more. Regular classes are also offered, covering subjects such as exercise, writing, Spanish and dance. Many programs are free, while others require only a nominal fee.

 

Senior Services Center Hours
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. to Noon and 12:30 to 4 p.m.
CLOSED Friday through Sunday.
